We have used numbers before in posts here - my favorite number 944, 10,000 members, 100,000 points, and so forth. Seems as if today numbers are everywhere I look. This photo of a flower with six petals was taken at 5 Wake Forest Court Catonsville, Maryland 21228.
Since I met Marti Garaughty, "The Art of Marketing You" expert, I always am aware of marketing. So today these two come together - numbers and marketing - with a bit of holiday spririt thrown in. Wouldn't this be an ideal day to own a liquor store, and put up a huge banner out front that read:
My mom used to say this, and today I smiled when I remembered her and this silly saying. Oh how I would love to own or be the marketing person for a package or liquor store today!
Whatever your favorite numbers, have a great Fourth of July!

Margaret my dear I love that line... a 5th of the 3rd for the 4th. Your mom was a marketing natural, both clever and very easy to remember. I hope you and your hubby have a great 4th of July! In Canada we had our fireworks & concerts of the 1st of July(Canada Day) so we celebrated a little bit early. ;-)

Sally, Glad you like Mom's catchy phrase. Every year, when someone wishes me a Happy 4th, I remember Mom and her saying. This year I am glad I shared it with everyone!

Kathy, My 4th and 5th have been good days. Just had a delightful party with good friends, good food and good colorful fireworks.
