So you only want to be a listing agent?
From the beginning of my real estate career, listings have been the name of the game. At closing, I remarked that I don't work with many buyers. He took me aside and said that might not be the best thing to say...in fact he suggested I might be losing clients. This was a friend talking to me and he meant it as constructive.
After thinking about it...I had a revelation. Buyers begat listings!
It's a cycle, buyers become sellers and sellers become buyers.
By advertising for the needs of special buyers...location, price, wants, area, style, acreage, single family, condo, first floor bedrooms, no steps, garage, pool, etc...
I have callers who are thinking of selling their homes.
It may not be the right home for this particular buyer but it might be the perfect home for another buyer or the opportunity to list another property.
Just today I was out showing condos to potential buyers. Several years ago they bought a home from me and now they are ready to move. That buyer from 3 years ago is now a buyer again AND they have a house to sell.
Another way to look at buyers...they are future listings.
So buyers do begat listings.
