Because FREE Sells

yes its free Margaret Rome

This morning there was a question by Frank Rubi asking if we checked out a site for free coaching.

Why would someone offer to coach for free?

This bright REALTOR ®, in his thirties, may just be the next coaching guru.

By offering his coaching for free, he gets in front of plenty of agents who need help. By answering questions in front of a camera, he continues to learn and develop skills.

A different way of marketing but he may be on to something.

How many successful agents write blogs, do radio shows, mentor other agents, share their marketing, niche, or are just plain willing to share their knowledge? For Free!

Theirs is not a monetary charge. Their cost is the generous gift of valuable time.
This young man is giving his time... maybe a bit sooner than most seasoned pros. Look at the ages of your top gurus. Wonder when they started their coaching career?

Here is a creative entrepreneur who found agents want stuff for free.

FREE

He seems to have an answer.

Find out what is needed

Fill that need

Repeat

Free coaching or free anything does sell!

Free is the magic word for most people even if they don't need the item

There is something inside me that says a portion of my efforts should be for the good of the community, without regard to compensation.  What I've learned over the years is that it can be difficult to give things away.  Somehow, it always comes back to you in one form or another.

Good morning Margaret. He certainly is getting his name out there without great cost. It will come back to him later if he is successful. Enjoy your day!

Good morning Margaret. This is an interesting topic. Free will surely catch attention but isn't self sustaining. There much be value too.

I have found that for the last decade or so freely given something of value is gratitude marketing.

Giving is the best way to receive.  I give of my knowledge freely to other agents and find them to be most helpful when a favor needs to be returned..or sometimes, out of the blue something wonderful will come my way because I was the one that offered help when they needed it.

Interesting idea Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland . Maybe this guy is on to something and he has a game plan in mind for his future. I've gone to plenty of 'free' classes over the years and being 'free' wasn't why I went to them. I went because I was interested in the topic and/or needed some CE hours. Many people in my area offer 'free' stuff for the community for marketing purposes.
