Beware This Is NOT From NAR !!!

Beware of emails especially official looking ones!

Many of us received an email recently that looked like it came from the REALTOR® Party. It was asking for funds for a young girl and it looked quite official.

Today this email below arrived alerting us that this indeed was SPAM.

New phishing attempt targets NAR members

NAR Scam

We should always be aware and alert to the opening of emails.

At this busy time we need to be even more careful and we need to warn others.

Be sure of the emails you open. They could be scams and Phishing just like some of received recently.

Wondering if any of the Realtors® were caught up with this one.

It probably does not bother us here as we immediately move to next mail.

Thanks for the warning.

Dear Margaret,

The scammers are getting so good, that I have started being suspicious of familiar people from time to time, until I know it is them. Did not get this email, so my spam filter must have worked.

I received the warning from NAR, but haven't seen the scammy one yet.  I'm glad NAR sent out the alert.

HI Margaret... glad you posted this. I received this warning in my email, as well, and thought about posting... now you've done it for me! Like Myrl Jeffcoat I have not received the scam email, as yet. Should I be feeling left out, do you think?
