In watching friends who are heavier than they want, I have noticed something different about the way they count their calories.
They do not keep track of what they actually eat.
Instead, they tell you what they didn't consume and by not eating the cookie etc...they saved so many calories.
After a huge meal... they tell you what was available but they did not eat it. "I didn't eat the whipped cream and ice cream that was on my slice of chocolate cake.
There are so many "cute" myths about dieting.
We've all heard.. if you break the dessert...the calories escape.
If you eat standing up, calories don't count.
Eat nothing but avocados for 6 weeks and you lose.
And they wonder why this diet is not working.
So how's the diet going?
