Techy...Not By A Long Shot

This is not about technology but it is a fun useful item.  No matter how much technology...I can not do without a pen.

It's not easy to sign a listing, give a number, take a quick note, make a 'to do" list, write a check, sign a receipt... and do it quickly, without having a pen!

In the car, I am  jotting down notes and numbers and writing  mileage on gas receipts.

4 color pen

So easy to  have four colors all in one little pen.

This, not so new, tool  has been around since the 1970's.

Use it for contracts...assigning a color for buyers and one for sellers. Changes in the offer? Initial with another color.

Techy..not by a long shot.

Hi Margaret

I enjoyed this post! While I don't use a multicolored pen I have a bunch of pens and use them often, and I DON'T feel guilty about writing things down as opposed to doing it all on my phone, etc. I hand write my To Do List for example.

Jeff Dowler, CRS  Good.. there is no guilt in doing what works for you. My calendar and notes are  on my phone but...many times I still need that pen.

A lot of us youngsters grew up with the technology and so we can adapt to it quicker. I think you’re doing OK. :)

I have a four color pen. I had not thought of using different colors for buyers and sellers. Thank you. Thank you for your email and for your kind words.

Hi Margaret,
There are things that are just easier to do with a pen, aren't there?  If things keep going the way they are in education, I fear students won't even know how to write.  Everything will be done on an electronic device.  They are already getting away from learning cursive.  I wonder how they will read historical documents.

Good morning Margaret. Like your idea of technology. I still write things down since it is easier than typing for me. Enjoy your day!

Margaret how could we do our lists without our pens!! And I must admit at times I do write out my list on my phone - but it's not the usual manner!

You're on to something when it comes to pens, Margaret.  We don't give that important item its proper due.

Hi Margaret, My mom was an avid note taker and list maker. I never quite got ther hang and committed so much to memory. I use my smartphone calendar, address book and note app to make most of my notes. I also take photos of items rather than jot something down to remember. Most everything is filed in my Dropbox.

Debbie Reynolds  I use my iPhone  for everything including pictures, notes, calendar etc...but I could never be without a pen. Talking on the phone, on the radio show etc...I jot things down. Now many of the jots  go into the phone a bit later.
