About ten years ago I left the big box company to start a REALTOR® auction company. At the time I was using the term "accelerated marketing" wanting to help guide auction sellers before, during and after.
In that short year, I knew it was not for me but it was a fun intense year and I learned so much ...especially how to get to the seller's bottom line number.
I'm not calling this type of marketing a loser...it was more like taking a one year course and made me a better real estate agent and prepared me for being a solo broker...opening HomeRome Realty.
Marketing is so important in real estate and it is something I love to do. It is exciting finding wonderful unique homes and sellers that I like and respect.
Each of my listings get weekly advertising, numerous blogs, not just the MLS write up but highlights of the property, of the surroundings or maybe an attraction that is near by. Or maybe the seller's favorite restaurant.
On my really special properties, I have my sellers write a letter to their home and I find these to be very effective when the right buyer comes along. They can see first hand how much the home was loved.
Always highlighting properties to find the perfect buyer.
Combining two decades of marketing along with a decade of blogging has been a wonderful way to give these houses exposure to the qualified people who want these exciting homes.
Through my live weekly radio I can share all my listings, allow my sellers to call in for even more exposure and find specific homes for specific buyers.
It is fun to engage the listening audience with different real estate subjects that I share based on my experience.
This year I am doing double duty using my blogs as topics for the radio show. I am looking forward to inviting other industry professionals to join me occasionally on the show.
It might be a lender, a title attorney, a vendor or just an interesting buyer, seller, real estate agent or, the most fun is, a raving fan.
