Name Brands...The Rome Way

There is a contest this month hosted by Ron and Alexandra and here are the rules.

'Name three brands outside of the real estate realm that you trust. Then, write a paragraph for each explaining why you trust them. Be sure to include at least one photo you have taken. Finally, share what you have learned about yourself and your values by focusing on these brands and examining why they are important in your life (and your real estate practice). '

There are lots of name brands that I could write about including, but not limited to, Lexus special treatment, Apple, Amazon  and my whole house generator. Not sure of the brand because it is under the snow!

Many members have written about some of these but  I thought I would do name brands...The Rome Way.

To me name brands are not about the company!

They are about the people.

Think of the big real estate companies, the big hospitals, and the top notch schools.

The big box real estate company is only as good as the agent you get.

The big important high rated school is only as good as the teacher your child gets.

And the world renown hospital  is only as good as the doctor and  the individual medical personnel who treat you.

THREE NAME BRANDS THE ROME WAY

#1

tonyLandscaping

Tony's Landscaping.

This morning, after the blizzard forecast, I heard noise before 7 AM. It was Tony plowing my driveway and shoveling my steps. He showed up without a call from me!  This is my special guy and he gives me special service. I, would and do, refer business all year to his company for all my special people including friends, neighbors and clients.

#2

 Dr. Joyce King

At Franklin Square Hospital , Dr. Joyce King,

responds to my text, emails and phone calls. She makes people feel good and saves lives. The staff under her direction, will have the benefit of all of her kindness, wisdom and compassion. The world is better for this brilliant woman.

 #3

Lifebridge Margaret Rome

LifeBridge Health & Fittness

And the same is true with my  gym. It is not the physical building, although it is immaculate and state of the art. It is the people that make the gym. It is the "good morning" greetings by everyone.

To me my gym is about John. His goal is to keep me safe, mobile and injury free. It is not about him. For one hour I get his full undivided attention. He is so tuned to my needs and keeps my routines in constant change so it is never boring. And at the end of each session I get the treat of a  foam roller massage. For more than a dozen years this wonderful trainer has never been late. The one  time he didn't show up....I found out he had an emergency appendectomy.

Always research and maybe go for the name brand but it is the people who are loyal that earn my business!

My goal is to have each and every client that works with me, Margaret Rome HomeRome Realty,  to have the same commitment,   the same level of trust, the same expectation and the same loyalty that I have come to expect with the name brands!

Thanks Ron and Alexandra Seigel for hosting this contest.

Hi Margaret - That's a great way to approach this topic - in the end, it always comes down to the people you deal with.

Bravo, Margaret. What a unique way to highlight the people who are part of the brands that mean omething special to you. It's so true - you can have a terrific brand by reputation but one person can ruin it.

Jeff Dowler It takes many years to build your brand...and then one person to take it down.

That's a different take on branding and a local one at that.
