Paul Henderson invited us to share the most unique or special place we have lived for the March contest. His story, living in a submarine, is going to be hard to top
I promise mine IS going to be quite boring. Since graduation, I have had the same phone number. That phone number was mine when I was single, lived alone working as an RN, in my first apartment and the apartment we lived in when first were married.
We have stayed in the very same neighborhood and same zip code for all these years.
We bought our first, last and only house, as a FSBO, forty years ago.
My ceramic studio was the lower level and there was a lot of enjoyment in that space.
It has been a very happy home and perfect for me. Since I lost My Lee TLH, I have made changes in the house that I love. My office aka my command center is my favorite space and where I spend most of my time. It is truly all me. It holds so many things that I love like this hand made bowl
sitting on my beautiful desk.
I have been able to use interior design to incorporate my custom artwork, all through out my home.
This is a place that I love to come home to.
Living in the city of Baltimore, I still have plenty of wildlife as evidence by
My Phoebe and I are 'purrfectly' content here. We love the quiet!
Basically, it is a rancher with a two car garage, tucked into a delightful neighborhood. There's more space than I need but everything is right for me.
The location, the style and the security...all ideal.
My goal in real estate is to find this safe haven for all my clients.
Many times I have been asked if I am still in my original home. Some people question my reasoning...asking why not a small manageable condo. For me, this would not be the right decision.
Hope you have found your special place.
