So Many Topics So Little Time

There is so  much to write about every single day!

Everyday ...until you hit that wall.

Then it's "oh no what's my subject? What to blog? It's late! I need help! ''

What to do?

Go back to your own blogging post statistics.

Check out the ones with the most views, the most comments or the most likes. One of these may trigger an idea.

How to find them?

Go to the top of your home page.

Click on Stats ( same drop down menu as my blog, drafts, following, my profile ) .

ActiveRain dropdown menu

Other things that may suggest a topic:

Go into your emails.

Go into your texts.

Go into your photos.

When you can't come up with a topic... write about it. Did you notice...that's  exactly what I'm doing?

My favorite is when an ActiveRain  member calls to share a situation, talk about a transaction or just to chat about some interesting fact. I then suggest that they go write a blog about.

Not mentioning names but there are a few members who will recognize themselves.

Frequently, it is these posts that get the most comments and the most likes.

I could have talked about the negotiating that I have been involved with all day.

So many topics... So little time!

I can't believe that you would ever have that problem but great advice nonetheless Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland

Hi Margaret

No doubt there are many who bump up against that proverbial wall but your suggestions can certainly help. I have also suggested that bloggers look at their marketing materials as well as consider the issue they discuss when meeting with buyers for the first time. And then there are always those community/localism posts.

You have shared some great tips here Margaret. Good job. Maybe tomorrow's blog post can be about the negotiations you were involved in? I hope things were settled nicely?

Hi Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland - This is a great topic!  I have found that when I am on the computer, I put my ideas on a cloud reminder checklist.  I have 30 blogs I can write about.

Another treasure area is looking through social media. I have come up with sone topics from every form of SM.

My problem is more the lack of time, but I appreciate your recommendation and know it will come in handy some day!

Walla can be a good thing, Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland since they hold up the house. Once that wall has been breached, you are inside the 'walls of discovery'.

I haven't given my blogging stats here a good look in a long time.  Got to put this on my To Do List.

Anna Banana Kruchten I'm not sure if the extra 3 or 24 hours would help.
