Rightsizing In Baltimore County

Downsizing is a word I choose not to use. Rightsizing more accurately describes why people need to move. They may actually need a bigger space or different uses of space. It may be to have room for guests and family to visit. It may be room needed for accessibility.

Look around at the big house you have called home for many  years. How much of the house are you really using?

Many people only use a small percentage of the house...maybe just a few key rooms.

When making the decision to move, it is those important spaces  you need in the new place.

You can still have a gourmet kitchen. You can still have a dressing room. You can still have a patio or balcony. You can still have a guest room that also serves as a den or office.

You can still have garage parking.

You might have more amenities and a more comfortable life.

Below are a few places that will allow you to rightsize in Baltimore.

You are such a voice of reason. I think the word rightsizing has a lot of merit and it isn't a negative Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland

Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, Broker, Tacoma Washington  That's exactly why I like the word rightsizing. Anyone can right size to any king of home.

Margaret I agree! Rightsizing makes a lot of sense to me.  I started using that word a couple of years ago and home sellers prefer it much better as it really does fit the situation better.  We're thinking of rightsizing in a year or two, not so much the house size but rather we don't want a pool, spa and huge yard anymore.

Enjoy your weekend!

Good evening Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland ,

I use the term "rightsizing" too because it makes sense to so so many people. I totally agree with you...it describes why people want to move!

Margaret- rightsizing is exactly the correct word!!!  I don't like the use of the "D" word because it is so negative.

Kathy Streib The D word is negative and depressing.
