One Day... The Rome Way

 

good day

 

 

 

 

My days are good & productive by keeping these three things in mind...

 

#1- Don't let unimportant things or unimportant people become important!

#2-Don't do upset!

#3- What's Important Now.

 

Since no two days are ever the same, let's talk about today. 

It started when my iPhone alarm went off early this morning, a quick check of emails and a one hour appointment at the gym with my personal trainer.

 

Looking at my phone log, this evening, I had taken 21 calls including setting up a listing appointment, a contract review, quite a few personal calls, one from an appraiser, a former client referring a friend, several from my current sellers, a lender and a couple of AR members.

At one o'clock I met my daughter for quiet lunch.

 

 

 Then I reviewed the professional photos for my new listing and made an appointment to visit the home this weekend.

 

At four o'clock, I went on a listing appointment and got final signatures.

 

At 6 o'clock, I met a buyer and spent three hours reviewing the offer. So many questions to answer and I patiently responded to each one. I wish I had recorded the conversation because we went through every single line of a 36 page offer!

 

A few more phone calls, a late dinner, emails to answer and  writing this post.. realizing this is the last day to submit an entry in Donna Foerster's  contest.

You certainly has a very full day filled with variety, and no major problems - always a blessing. It provides some nice insight as to how things can be in our business, knowing that there really is no typical day.

I do believe you've perfected the art of scheduling by your excellent organizational skills! I like that you scheduled your daughter in for a very important 1:00 visit.

You picked a busy day to share and that's great. New agents need to recognize that although they may not have much to do initially as they are building their business, later they will have much to do!
