Before And After

Do you need a simple and inexpensive way to update louvered doors? This style was popular in many mid century homes.

No need to completely replace.

Just cover the louvered slats with a piece of board.

Choose a decorative trim, paint and voila you have a modern looking updated door.

Interesting!  I might have used different moldings on the door, but it it's a huge improvement over the mid-century funky.

Viola!! A new updated door! I would have used different moldings too but a huge improvement!

Unless the louvers are "real" vents, I am all for covering them up.  Very nice, Margaret!

That is a great and I'm assuming reasonably priced quick update.

We still see many of these here on Long Island. Much nicer look than the dated ones!

Definitely an improvement, but I don't know if the face lift would make the darn things work any better.

Dianne Goode They work fine, just a face lift for the doors.
