Sharing A Buyer's Letter

Recently I shared the letter my seller wrote to her beloved house.

And this past Monday evening  we had a family who toured the home on Bonita Ave.

The agent was very professional and the family seemed to be a good fit for this property,

I emailed the seller letter  to the buyer's agent and it was shared with the buyer.

Two days later we were in negotiations. And along with the buyer's offer, ...you guessed it, a letter to the seller.

With permission, I am sharing it with you.

We are under contract and looking forward to a smooth settlement.

Do you have any real estate letters to share?

This post was inspired by Olga Simoncelli who also wrote about mushy letters.

Many agents think it's not always a good idea to accompany offers with letters like the one above.  However, I am one that disagrees.  More than once I have had buyers who have written similar letters to sellers, when writing offers.  And, most times it has made a difference.  When you stop to think about it, a home is more than just a simple asset in a business deal.  Homeowners often put their heart and souls in those homes.  They appreciate knowing someone out there interested in buying their home, shares some of the qualities there.

Yes, I've found Buyer letters can make a huge difference with offers.

Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland, I don't always encourage my buyers to write letters but one of my buyers did write one last year and they did win the multiple and now living in the home.

Those type of moments depicted in the buyers letter back to the seller are priceless. Thank you for sharing that with us Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland

Good eveing Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland ,

What a wonderful letter. There are times when a letter written right and submitted with a compelling offer these letters can make all the difference!

My perspective tends to be very black and white and a letter like that would do little to inspire me

Ed Silva When you have a seller emotionally involved with a house...it is more than just sticks and bricks.
