Two Ways To Pay For A Home

There Are Two Ways To Pay For A Home

2 ways to pay Margaret Rome 410-530-2400

Let me explain.

#1- Living in your home  allows you to enjoy a  special lifestyle. A home can be the place that is safe and relaxing, a place to entertain and to make many years of memories. It can give you  security and  it can make you and others feel content and  happy.

A home takes year round care including keeping systems up to date,  preventive maintenance, dealing with safety issues, painting, lawn and exterior attention. Power washing, gutter cleaning, replacing worn items, early plantings and mulching allows the beauty of the spring seasons.

All of these  make a home welcoming and shows that special pride of ownership.

#2- Occupying your home is the second way.  Some only do emergency repairs, and mandatory fixes...patching a leaky roof, cutting the grass when the neighbors complain, fixing old windows and using lots of 'home' band aids aka duct tape.

When it comes time to sell a house..

The person living in the home should realize a fair price and a sale within a reasonable time.

The person occupying a home has to either spend considerable time and money to bring the house up to standards or sell "as is" and below market value.

You can pay for your home while you are living and enjoying life or pay for it when it sells.

Good points Margaret, having those repairs made does make a difference for most buyers.
