Spring Forward On Sunday

 Spring Forward On Sunday

"Spring forward, Fall back" which reminds us how Daylight Saving Time affects all our time telling devices, including computers, alarm clocks, cell phones, microwaves, car clocks and the  numerous watches we may own.

Daylight saving time (DST) begins each year on the second Sunday in March at 2 a.m.

Daylight Savings Time

Clocks must be moved ahead one hour when DST goes into effect.

Some people remember which way to move their clocks using the phrase, "spring forward, fall back".

Too late to remind my radio listeners of the time change.  I think they will remember?

Right now I am going to change the clocks.

Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland - I am going to change the clock before I go to bed.

(And you know, AR will get one hour of less time to blog - I better finish everything by 1 AM tonight...lol!)

Thank you for reminding. I'll do it right now, before going to sleep. Have a great Sunday!

It is getting easier with the computers running our clocks these days, yet it does seem a very silly practice to change the time twice a year.

Thanks for the reminder Margaret!

Well I sprung forward, went to bed an hour early to compensate and woke up three hours early.....insomnia sucks.

Hi Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland I like DST. All this about dis-continuing it really upset me. I would prefer to have DST all year. Now that we have "Sprung" forward, let's just keep it that way.

Hi Margaret

We are certainly seeing lots of reminders about DST, which is a good thing. No doubt there are still people who forget.

I love having more light but hate the change back and forth. Like Bill Roberts I would like to just keep it DST.

There is an Assembly Bill in CA that proposes banning DST. And I saw a petition people can sign for Congress to ban in on the federal level.

Hope you don't miss the hour too much - enjoy the rest of your day!

I know that I am not supposed to like it as it is not natural, but I do love it. My days are longer, and I am not a morning person, so I do not care about mornings anyway :)
