Beautiful Victorian In Cockeysville

Beautiful Victorian in Cockeysville

and old pictures.

While touring my  Victorian home at 37 Sherwood Road 21030 over the weekend, the owner shared these photos showing some of his renovations.

When you realize the home was built in 1887, it's interesting to see how the property has changed.

Warning: You may want to adjust the sound before clicking.

Love hearing the owner talk about living in this beautiful home, the gazebo porch, the additions and his car collection.

No problem with space when you also have

 garage parking for 9-10 cars.

Margaret, There is always such beauty in the evolution and history of an old Victorian. Sea Cliff NY, has so many and often they have hidden stories, hidden spaces, and endless beauty! I hope when they come, the new buyers get to see the history of the home.

Ellen Caruso This one has a hidden story in the attic...a complete living space with full kitchen, bedroom, dining area, walk in closet, balcony and luxury whirlpool bath.

What a gorgeous home, Margaret! Victorians are a particular favorit of mine. Trying to think what I'd do with parking for 9-10 cars!

Nina Hollander So many things to use that garage.

Exercise, home gym, yoga studio, car collection, home base business, boat, motor cycles, entertaining space...There is heat, electric and water in the main garage. How about a real estate office. There would be no lack of storage.

What a transformation, love seeing a beautiful home come back to life.

Nina Hollander You would hire someone to run the house and you would just enjoy it.

How absolutely wonderful Margaret! You know I adore old homes as much as you do and I so appreciate the work that was put into this stunning Victorian in Cockeysville.

Oh how I wish I could be the right buyer!

P.S. Just shared on my FB page.

Andrea Bedard You would truly love this home.  If you can't be the buyer...maybe you will bring the buyer. Would love to work with you. Thanks for the share!

Good morning, Margaret.... I had no idea you knew quite so well!

I actually have clients building a home here in the Charlotte area, who are moving from NJ and who live in a gorgeous, old Victorian that they've restored over the years. They say they are now ready for "move-in ready" and no more big project lists!

Nina Hollander there is something to be said about new construction. To make a new house move in ready is a big project.

I know from personal experience, Margaret, having done major renovations in two homes, including a 1930's NYC coop that hadn't been touched from the day it was built until I bought it in 1995. I've now built two new homes, and would rather "go new" any day of the week.

Nina Hollander You are the expert with renovating homes and building new homes. I am still in my first home and loving it.
