No Drawers For Me

No Drawers For Me

Drawers

Filing drawers do not work for me and I was tired of filing by pile!

You could say a paper truck threw up.

When redoing my new office,  I drew up a design with the contractor, measured the size of my folders and the amount of space each one took up. Voila...I created vertical storage.

Many of you are extremely neat when it comes to office organization. I have not been blessed with that attribute!

Since I got a gorgeous new desk...I wanted to be able to see it. That would not be possible the way I have worked in the past!

Take a look at my vertical storage.

And I still continue to say ...

No Drawers For Me

I too wasn't blessed in that department and you have just given me a wonderful idea for some space I have.

Good Saturday morning Margaret. For some reason, the big 'O' and I never seemed to get along. I always thought that 'O' stood for Oprah

I see you matched the top of the storage with your desk Margaret! It looks beautiful..

At this moment I am glancing around my office and ... I hear you! Things have a way of piling up very, very quickly. Must find time to organize my desk.

I hate using drawers.  I like your idea of the open cubbies for storage.

Margaret - When I first read your title line, "No Drawers For Me," I had a picture in my head of you running around without any panties!

Hi Margaret -- sounds as if you have found the organization system that works best for you -- and that matters most.   It's definitely not a one-size-fits-all solution.

What a wonderful vertical storage design Margaret.  Sounds like your redecorating and remodeling project have moved to new vistas!

Joanna Cohlan Why did it take me so long to find a solution to my own organization?  As you already know...one size does not fit all.

If the weather was warmer, that headline could have a whole different meaning Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland but given the chill in the air, I too like vertical filing for access and to keep things from falling out of the file.

Deanna Early Catchy titles get a bit of attention. Too chilly for no drawers.

Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland  I like your vertical storage because you can see everything.  I don't have the space for that, but the drawers helped me and what has also helped - and it's not done yet - is an entire closet of shelves.  Finally a place to put all that stuff!  I am not from the organized desk group.
