'Thank you for your email.

I need some more information.

Where do you want to live?

What county?

What style?

How many bedrooms?

How many baths?

What are the important things for you to have in your new house?

What size house?

What size lot?

Do you have any pets?

How many people will be living in the house?

Do you want a townhouse, condo or single family?

What price range?

Will you be paying cash or will you be getting a mortgage?

How soon would you like to buy?

Are you working with a real estate agent?'

The response above is lightening fast if you have  created specific email signatures.

Smart thinking.  I call those email templates (not signatures), but same idea.  I need to start doing more of these.

Debbie Gartner Tempates is a much better term. When you create them... you have to go into "signatures".

I use this feature in Outlook as well.  It is a huge time saver and keeps us from forgetting to include our contact information.

I find one thing missing from email signatures is a disclosure that you are a licensed REALTOR®. On mine it says, Licensed in Oklahoma since 1989.

Margaret- clever and an economy of time.  Smart time management.

We don't so anything else. I have created contracts and had them signed in two hours when the buyer is in California, the seller in Israel, and the home in Oklahoma City. Meanwhile, I have time do do other things. On an expanded note, I have been selectively starting to use e-notaries also. I hope this becomes common practice and NAR is supporting a company.

Thanks Margareet. I have used email signatures but not in this way. I will try this and see how it works for me.
