This has been a wonderfully busy end of December with parties, celebrations and yes even real estate open houses.
When another agent wants to see my listing, I create an impromptu OPEN HOUSE...just for one hour.
Yesterday an agent requested a showing on my 8 Gala Lane 21208 a beautifully remodeled garage townhouse and I had two other people that came through during that one hour.
Again today an appointment on my 44 Thomas Craddock Ct at noon and I accommodated the agent and tacked on another Impromptu OPEN HOUSE.
Again three showings and what seems like a bit of interest.
So instead of exposing these two listings to one showing each...look at the added benefit to the seller in getting exposure.
Buyers, looking on December 26th and 27th, IMHO are serious!
One had recently sold a house and needed to relocate within 4 weeks. One was renting and will look into the cost of breaking a lease. One has a home to sell but is in the position to move once a new place is found.
Some may be thinking that this is a week to spend with friends and family.
A One Hour Open House did not stop me from having dinner with my daughter last night and celebrating my dear friend's 60th anniversary today.
It's a wonderfully busy time of year!
With planning and a bit of flexibility... you can sometimes do it all.
