There are simple ways to stay in touch with our clients. My favorite way..  simply picking up the phone.


When you call ask if copies, of their closing documents, are needed.

Of course they received them at the time of settlement. But they may not remember.  Provide this service by mail, email, text or maybe you have a CD from closing.

I remind my former buyers and seller, on my live radio show, they can call me for this information.


Doesn't matter how you reach out...just stay in touch especially at the end of the year or around the holidays.

There are some easy ways to make sure your recent clients have these documents.

At the end of each settlement have stamped  envelopes with the  buyer's property and the seller's new address. Place a copy of the HUD 1 or CD and other final closing documents into the envelope and file them.

At the end of the year just mail this stack to your buyers and sellers from the previous year.   You may want to wait until until March and send them out prior to tax deadline.

At the settlement table also have a few larger envelopes that are addressed from the buyer to he seller. Any stray mail that is delivered can easily be forwarded. It's sometimes the small details  that make a difference.
