House Is Paid Off...Prove It

Congratulations your house is paid off!!

Paid In Full

...but we need proof!!

How do you prove your deed is paid off?

My client's dad bought his home in 2002 and recently paid off the Mortgage.

For seventeen years, he had made a payment every month and always on time!

That deserves congratulations and a well done!

He has received several zero balance statements.  He wants his deed of satisfaction.

After many frustrating calls to various people at the bank,  he was told to pay $55 which was done right away but he still has no satisfaction.

After 17 years, a lot of payments and a lot of interest, would it be so hard for the bank or mortgage company to make it easy for this proud homeowner to receive his deed of satisfaction?

They should celebrate with a toast and the correct paperwork!
