Real estate is a commitment and comes with responsibility.
As a listing broker
I have been told that I should not make my own appointments that I should not show my own properties.
When I take a listing I also take on the responsibility of that listing.
By limiting the amount of listings I take, I am able to give this kind of service.
I continue to make my own appointments, I do show my own listings and I do keep my sellers informed.
If my property has a lockbox it's still my responsibility to make sure the house is secured after any showings.
Its easy to blame the agents who didn't turn off lights, who may have changed the thermostat and who may have left the doors open and unlocked.
Realtors® who show homes should leave the house as they found it and make sure it is secure before leaving.
But...it's still my listing.
It's still my responsibility.
When reading a post like Realtors® don't read...
I am even more sure that I will continue to do
Real Estate the Rome way.
