More Than Twenty Questions When Buying

When it's time to buy a home, you are going to have to answer questions to narrow down your search.

Are you looking for a condominium, Home Owner Association, adult community, a single-family home?

What style? A rancher, contemporary, townhouse, open floor plan, colonial, one with acreage, or a zero lot line?

Is it for a large family or to share with friends?

Are you looking for a historic home with style, a forever home, or just one loaded with charm?

Do you want a huge home, a tiny house, one with lots of storage, or a compact space that won't allow room for clutter?

Do you want some land to plant, to garden, or have a ball field?

Do you want neighbors, or do you want privacy?

Do you want a wooded lot or water access?

Do you want it in the city or suburbs?

Do you want it near schools, hospitals,  transportation, and shopping?

Does it have to be close to work?

How many will be living in the house?

What specific needs do you have? How many rooms? Do you need a home office?

Does it have to have a garage? What kind of heat? Public water? What is your budget? Are you willing to do some work, or do you want it move-in ready?

What price range? Do you need a mortgage, or are you paying cash?

That's more than twenty questions and even more that will need answers.

When are you ready to answer these questions to find that perfect home?
